Mini Doc: Immigration Law

As part of an assignment in my Production Film/Video course, I was tasked with creating a mini-documentary on a topic of my choice. Recognizing the lack of accessible information on Immigration Law, I decided to leverage my skills to create a resource that could reach and inform others. Collaborating with Cori Alonso-Yoder, an Immigration Attorney, I developed a story that offers valuable insights into the topic.

Teacher Assistant – Television Production: "Welcome to Rapid Wildfire!" Game Show

As a Teacher Assistant for the Television Production course, I played a key role in the creation of "Welcome to Rapid Wildfire!", a trivia game show designed for college students, where the questions are hot but the climate is even hotter. I assisted in various aspects of production, including set design, technical support, and script development. My responsibilities ranged from supporting the operation of cameras, lighting, and sound equipment to coordinating rehearsals and managing the live audience. I also contributed to post-production by helping review footage for content and flow, ensuring the final product met high-quality standards. Through this experience, I gained valuable insights into both the creative and technical sides of television production.

Motion Graphics

At American University, I had the opportunity to explore a variety of motion graphics and animation courses, including Digital Literacy and Motion Graphics and Effects. These classes emphasized the significance of design principles and provided hands-on experience with industry-standard software such as After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
